Mid to late afternoon. More ovipositing in the garden the past few days. Both Spicebush Swallowtail (Spicebush) and Tiger Swallowtail (Ash and Tulip Poplar) on Wednesday and Thursday prior to the storms/rain. This afternoon I was following around a female Wild Indigo Duskywing. She laid dozens of eggs on various groups of Crown Vetch. That has always been the preferred host in my garden.
Two Hummingbird Clearwing Moths were also observed.

12:40-3:50 Sunny and 80's. This was my first time at High Point and first time viewing the Pepper and Salt skippers. What an amazing and beautiful species! I walked a short stretch of Sawmill Rd. south of the lake - one Pepper and Salt and 2 Hobomoks were close to the parking lot and 1 of each was a bit further down. All the skippers were feeding on the Wild Geranium flowers which were blooming along the entire stretch of the road.
