Sunny, High 50s, Windy

1345, sunny, 20 mph W wind, temp. 60's. Saw the butterfly in a sheltered area in my backyard during a lull in the wind.

1:30-3:00, 65 degrees, sunny and breezy
5 of the commas were flying in the area of, and nectaring on, tree sap below sapsucker holes

My first butterfly of the season in my yard.

Both along Robin's Trail.

Trail deep in mud in places.

Beautiful and sunny. All observations on the Red Trail. 2:00-3:30pm.

Mostly Sunny, Low 60s

1245, sunny, 60's, S breeze. The butterfly flew around my yard, landing briefly on a Viburnum, but completely ignoring the 100's of Daffodil blooms in the wooded area of the property.

My wife found the Painted Lady nectaring on periwinkle in the backyard.

They cut the trees growing on the pipeline without disturbing the grass. It looks real good.

Just east of the Riegelsville Bridge visiting dandelions.

Temp in mid-70s, weak sun, breezy.

64 degrees, breezy - first butterfly of the year for me.

2:30-3:30, cloudy, 60s. Waterloo Road end of trail.

Visitor Center, Refuge Road & Boardwalk.

Two flyby unided Sulphur species. My first of the spring. Sightings around 3:30 pm. Sunny and high 70s.

Warm, sunny. Wildflowers stating to bloom. Saw one in my backyard at 1300 and another nearby at 1545.

2:00-3:00, sunny, mid-70s. Deer Park section. Also saw nearly 100 salamander egg masses in small pond next to the trail.

Went looking for Falcate Orangtips but it was wet & overcast in the morning. After lunch, we had better luck.

high 70s sunny and humid. On power cut near disc golf and hike to lake from picnic area on Edinburg Road…2-4pm
