Low numbers of butterflies but lots of cloudywings nectaring mostly on limited amount of remaining Rubus. Patch of Spreading Dogbane attracted 7 of 11 of species. Juniper Hairstreaks were very worn–lost most of green color.

supposedly 90F, dry and hot ; 12:35- 3:15pm. Blue trail, parts of white, orange yellow trails. milkweed plentiful, but not more than 5% in bloom. believe that comma was a gray, but no picture. saw no hairstreaks in the field adjacent to the blue trail. male and female zabulons present.
