10 AM - 12 noon. Good Joe-Pye weed on the trail between waypoints C1 and C2, west of the creek - check the map on the kiosk by the parking lot. Trails recently mowed so access easier. Hairstreak behaved as if ovipositing on Bird'sfoot Trefoil but did not seem to be actually laying eggs. Few butterflies at Wagner Farm, possibly due to extensive mowing.
