Sourland Mountain Preserve
Somerset County, NJ

9:40am-1:40pm, mostly sunny, 85°F, a fair amount of the Dogbane flowers have been browsed apparently by deer which was very disappointing. Pipeline path is very dry so virtiually no minerializing and the bottom section is covered with plates to support gasline matainence again this year. Common Milkweed is mostly open at the bottom of the mountain and mostly still closed on top.
