10:40-12:30, partly to mostly sunny, 76-82º. Power line off Pascoe Rd. Nectar sources few—this turned out to be one of the few places lacking abundant milkweed this year. Ticks far more abundant than butterflies. Also saw one white-form sulphur and one Lady sp. Several E. Red-bellied Tiger Beetles along the trail, and several elegant longhorn beetles feeding on pollen of Pasture Rose.
